Distance: 1/2 mile
Highlights: Wabasha was platted in 1854 and incorporated as a city in 1858. Between 1850 and 1880 Wabasha experienced great growth. In the early 1860’s Main Street was primarily wood frame buildings. By 1868 brick buildings, made from local materials, began to replace the earlier frame buildings. Many of these buildings still stand today.
